How operating for Christ destroys the human work, which Jesus makes rise again into a divine work– Volume 7
Luisa- As I was in my usual state, blessed Jesus came for a little while, and embracing me wholly, He told me:
Jesus- “My
beloved daughter, operating for Christ and in Christ makes the human work disappear completely, because by operating in
Christ, since Christ is fire, He consumes the human work, and after He has consumed the human work, His fire makes it
rise again into a divine work. Therefore, operate always together with Me, as if we were both doing the same thing
together; if you suffer, suffer as if you were suffering together with Me; if you pray, if you work, do everything in Me and
with Me. In this way you will lose the human works completely and will find them again as divine. Oh, how many
immense riches creatures could acquire, but they do not avail themselves of them.
Scripture Meditation- 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which was in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped. (Philippians 2:5-6).
Prayer Reflection- O Lord, we bless You, we adore You, and we love You because You ask us to do all in You and for You. To put on the mind of Christ. To really ask You Lord to fuse into our whole day, everything we will think, do, and say even into our very breath and heartbeat. Because You bring Your Fire which burns away all that is human- all that gets in the way. Anxiety, fear, worry, discouragement, our own self esteem which colors all of our works. You purify our intentions. And You do not do this as some remote God who does not care about us or love us- You are right there working in our working, praying in our praying, and yes, even suffering in our suffering. And somehow our mess fused with Your Divine Love brings life and glory to You Blessed Trinity and good to all! O Lord You tell us there are so many immense riches we miss out on- reminds me of an old song I grew up called What a Friend We Have in Jesus. O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
all because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer! Lord may we take it all to prayer fused in Your Most Holy Divine Will for Your Glory and the good of all!
