Vol 9, Jul 29, 1909. Book of Heaven. Peace is divine virtue

Luisa:

Continuing in my usual state, I said to myself: ‘Why does the Lord absolutely want that no breath of disturbance enter into me, and that in all things I remain at peace? It seems that nothing pleases Him, be they even great works, heroic virtues, atrocious sufferings… It seems that He sniffs in the soul, and with all those things, if she has no peace, He remains nauseated and displeased with the soul. ’ At that moment, He made Himself heard, and with dignified and imposing voice, answering my ‘why’, He told me:

Jesus:

“Because peace is divine virtue, while the other virtues are human. So, any virtue, if it is not crowned with peace, cannot be called virtue – but vice. This is why I cherish peace so much – because peace is the surest sign that one suffers and works for Me, and it is the heritage I give to my children, of the eternal peace they will enjoy with Me in Heaven. ” (Book of Heaven- Divine Will App)

Scripture Meditation– ⁷ And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7). (RSV Catholic Edition).

Prayer Reflection- O Lord we bless You, we adore You, and we worship You because You show us the virtue that means the most to You which is peace! How often so many of us do everything in our lives in anything but peace! Anxious about work, worried about family, not to mention all the little annoyances in life. And we think we are doing good just showing up for life but the truth is if we are not operating in Your Peace then we cannot say any of it is in union with You! Peace is the sign that we work and suffer even for You and no one else! So how do we get this peace- a clue comes from the verse before Philippians 4:7. ⁶ Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. It is in trust, surrender, and thanksgiving in prayer where Your Peace will descend into our souls fused in Your Most Holy Divine Will! So let us not leave You Lord, even for a second, so that no disturbance can enter into us even in the worst storms of our lives! Fiat!
